Our Overseas Operations

Bless Back Worldwide regularly sends teams to Haiti and Nicaragua to provide medical, non-medical, and spiritual blessings to those less fortunate.  Our teams have made a huge difference in the lives of those we serve. In addition to medical, dental, and vision care, we have helped to build houses for single women and their children, improved facilities, built and stocked a school library, taught English classes, launched a Business Academy initiative, and held medical education workshops for the local Haitians & Nicaraguans. Our volunteers have also provided basic living supplies that are often taken for granted in the US, such as shoes, clothing, eating utensils, and food.  In every project we undertake, we work closely with our overseas ministry partners to insure that our work fits into their long-term ministry goals. We believe in “Not doing things for people that they can do for themselves”.  Therefore, the focus of our ministry is to equip others with the tools, education, and skills they need to transform their lives and communities.

Our US Operations

We now provide opportunities to serve with the Bless Back Worldwide family in our own community. Partnering with Project 658 we now offer free medical/dental clinics and Business Academy workshops to refugees in the Charlotte area. We are changing the world – one life at a time!

In 2013, Bless Back volunteers worked with local Haitians to establish aquaponics implementations.  Aquaponics combines the marine and plant food source growth for a solution which will provide the locals with a daily healthy source of fruits, vegetables and fish. Covenant Day School in Matthews, NC is our key partner in this initiative.

Business Academy

In 2015, Bless Back launched a Business Academy in Nicaragua.  This program focuses on providing local education workshops in numerous areas of small business and personal development.  To date, we have developed 6 workshops which are being presented in a rotation series when Bless Back teams are in-country.  Along with the education component, the Business Academy includes a micro-loan application process, a local Business Association, and local business coaching.  The micro-loan program has issued $10,000+ and repayment has been 100%.  These small loans to trust-worthy, hard-working entrepreneurs in Nicaragua are helping to transform their businesses and communities.  We have plans to expand this program into Haiti and offer the workshops locally in the Charlotte refugee community.

Electronic Medical Records

Bless Back’s volunteer medical professionals have implemented an electronic medical records system in both Haiti and Nicaragua that can be used by our traveling medical professionals and the local medical staff. This system will ensure efficient communication and enable medical personnel to track client progress.
