GET INVOLVED

Volunteers are the life blood of our ministry.

Bless Back is a Volunteer-driven Organization

We live in a broken world and the challenges we face are vast and varied. The solutions are as complex and multi-faceted as the problems themselves, but we each have a responsibility to respond. Our goal is to encourage each person in seeing their God-given gifts, to give opportunities that empower them to serve, and to provide the resources to equip them to be part of the work God is doing on earth. We follow the example of Jesus, who “did not come to be served, but to serve…” and give his life away. (Mark 10:45)

Bless Back offers overseas trips and local projects that utilize a diverse group of volunteers. No matter what your age, profession, or set of skills, we invite you to step out of your comfort zone and be part of something that is bigger than yourself.

“Never underestimate the bond of team fellowship and the results of genuine teamwork.”

“Serving through Bless Back with my teenage son or daughter has allowed them to experience intergenerational mission work while getting a firsthand look at what it’s like for me to use my training and talents for God’s kingdom building.”
– Chris Kibler –

“Serving with Bless Back is such a special experience. It is unique in that you know your work is not done in vain. There will be someone going back after I leave, taking care of my patients, with as much love for these people as I have. I have had the privilege of serving on five teams so far, and I come back each time changed even more than the last, with a heart softened even more for the world around me. When you love what you do and have the ability to connect it to an even larger purpose, it is such a blessing to not only those who are served but to your own heart as well.”

Serve Charlotte

Your gifts and skills are needed right here in Charlotte! Bless Back serves the refugee community in Charlotte in conjunction with our partners at Project 658 and the Smith Family Wellness Center through monthly medical clinics. We are looking for doctors, including subspecialties, and nurses to provide the vital treatment these underserved families urgently need. To keep the clinic flowing smoothly, we also have roles for non-medical support staff to help with check in, clinic flow and children’s activities. Follow the link to the Quarterly Sign-Up Genius below to see the current openings.
