We hope this email finds you well. We wanted to provide you with an update on the Grand Goave Dental Program in Haiti.

We are still in desperate need for funds to continue operations at the Grand Goave Dental Clinic. We’ve raised $1,210 so far, falling short of our operating costs. We have just $19,000 more to go! We need just 15 more individuals to contribute a similar value. Together, we can do this!

See the financial breakdown of the funds needed below.

A Beacon of Hope Despite Challenges

Our dental clinic has been a beacon of hope for the community in Haiti, shining brightly even amidst the challenges of unrest and political upheaval. Because other parts of the country are shut down, people are coming from all over seeking treatment at our clinic.

A Snapshot of Grand Goave’s Impact in March :

Grand Goave has one full time dentist, one part-time and one dental assistant.

How Dental Health is Connected to Overall Health

Our Medical Director, Dr. Carmen Teague, highlights the significance of dental care for overall health: “According to multiple studies, patients with poor oral health are more likely to have respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and even adverse pregnancy outcomes. The MOHI clinic is teaching good oral health to children that will positively affect their health for a lifetime!”
