BBW Providers serving the Charlotte refugee community

Our clinics are growing, and with it new opportunities to serve.

Your gifts and skills are needed right here in Charlotte! Bless Back has served the refugee community in Charlotte for several years in conjunction with our partners at Project 658 through monthly medical clinics at the Smith Family Wellness Center. Our clinics are growing, and with it new opportunities to serve. We are looking for doctors, including subspecialties, and nurses to provide the vital treatment these underserved families urgently need. In addition, non-medical support staff is necessary to keep the clinics running smoothly. This is where training for our medical missions overseas comes in handy! Our local clinic utilizes the same electronic medical records system, Practice Fusion, so any who have used our EMR overseas can transfer those skills to our local clinic. We are also looking for ways to assist families that come in for treatment by caring for their children while they are in the clinic. Soon our clinics will feature a “Kids Korner” with crafts, games and children’s health lessons. Finally, just as we do in our overseas clinics, we need volunteers to help direct the flow of patients so that our time is used effectively.
