Fauche becomes secondary clinic site in Haiti
The Bless Back Worldwide/Mission of Hope International medical mission is expanding! We love our beautiful primary clinic in Thozin, the main campus of Mission of Hope International in Grand Goave, which houses medical, dental and pharmacy rooms. However, not everyone can travel the distance to Thozin, so we continue to establish “secondary sites” where the staff will make regular rounds to serve more remote locations. The patients there receive the same high quality, continuous care that we give at Thozin, just in a more “natural” setting. Many of our teams have visited the breathtaking mountain area of St. Etienne, a long-standing secondary site. Pastor Lex has now strategically chosen Fauche, which is on the eastern side of Grand Goave, to be the newest locale for medical ministry.
The January team was able to go door to door in Fauche, introducing themselves, praying with the families and inviting them to the clinic. The Haitian people are incredibly kind and hospitable and so it is a joy to take some time out of the bustle of each trip to simply walk the quiet paths from home to home. Inevitably, we meet a new friend who captures part of our heart and who we look forward to seeing next time! We’re excited for this opportunity to establish what we hope will be long, healthy relationships in Fauche!
