Community Health Advocate Program

First Responder Training Launch!

Hungry to Learn

This summer we launched a Community Health Advocate Program in Nicaragua. Interested community members went through an extensive application process. The fifteen community members selected for the program will receive extensive first responder training by BBW medical teams. The first day of training focused on Women’s Health, Reproductive Health and Family Planning. The second set of workshops focused on Emergency Care, CPR and Wound treatment. The Advocates are hungry to learn and we are thrilled to have them be part of our program.
