Education in salon hygiene, hair care and basic cutting skills

In March, two fabulous BBW volunteers launched the first classes for the cosmetology trade school at Mission of Hope, International. Lynda Carlson and April Kuhn of Attitudes Salon, traveled to Haiti to train 11 young women in a comprehensive curriculum including salon hygiene, hair care and basic cutting skills. The ladies endured a tough final exam and all passed with flying colors!  Lynda and April presented each of the girls with a framed certificate and their own backpack of stylist tools. There are now 11 women in Grand Goave who are equipped with the basic skills and tools to provide for their families!  Way to go, Lynda and April for sharing your gifts in Haiti!
